On April 4, 2024, a meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel General of Militia Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Ji Shumin.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between the internal affairs bodies of both countries towards the implementation of the second stage of the “Safe City” system of automation of transport management and public order.
During the meeting, the parties signed exchange letters related to the implementation of the second stage of the “Safe City” system of automation of transport management and public order.
The parties also exchanged views on expanding the exchange of information, experience and cooperation.
